The Space

Ground Floor

Large living room with three squishy velvet sofas, quirky oversized seagrass pouffe and large two-seater sheepskin-covered ottoman

Dining room with 10 to 12 seater reclaimed scaffold plank table and benches

Kitchen is very well-equipped with ample work surfaces and storage space, gas hob, electric oven, fridge (freezer in garage), washer/dryer, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, lovely tableware and more

Snug and mezzanine (or bedrooms 4 and 5) plus two luxury shower rooms

Reached through a door off the hallway is a third, smaller, snug-style reception area seating up to six with a mezzanine sleeping area above it plus two further luxury shower rooms for all to use. The mezzanine sleeping area is reached by a fixed ladder and has a fairly low ceiling height so is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. It has two low, loft-style full-size single beds (which can be pushed together) and overlooks the snug (where there are also two sofa beds). Double doors open up the whole space to the sunny front garden area. This makes it perfect as a semi-private sleeping/chilling area for up to four older children/teens sharing (but still connected to the main house) or great for groups of friends or extended family to have some break out living and/or sleeping space. The whole house is designed to be flexible so that it would provide very generous living and sleeping areas for six but would still feel spacious for eight or even ten guests

Commercial grade festoon lighting (solar or USB chargeable for year-round use) makes the garden a beautiful nightime space. BBQ with smoker attachment

Front: Planter-enclosed sunny front garden with large palms, low level pallet and oak sleeper seating, wood-only fire pit (that can also be cooked over) and festoon and fairy lighting. Vintage Welsh blankets provided for wrapping up on colder nights
